We Keep Our Word

For eight years, the Gina Din Group provided strategic guidance and execution across several disciplines, including strategic planning, message development, print and social media relations, and event management for CIC Insurance. We worked to elevate the insurer’s profile and reputation through issue management with stakeholders, partners and media. The team also worked to develop and implement long-term media and reputation strategies.

Before we came on board, CIC Insurance Group was ranked 20th amongst insurance companies in the country. It has since risen to position three. In addition to this, the annual CIC Insurance premium income grew from Kshs. 198 million to over 12 billion.

Our strategic communication plan ensured that group CEO Nelson Kuria is now known as the micro-insurance advocate, with contributions in Business Daily Newspaper as a columnist, and frequent speaking engagements in high-level conferences, both locally and abroad. We also assisted in the rollout of the successful Corporate Social Investment campaign dubbed “I’m A Co-operator.”
