Safaricom donates Sh2 million towards the three part Gusii Golden Series

Safaricom has donated Sh2 million towards the 9th edition of the Gusii Golden Series.

The cheque presentation event was held today at Safaricom headquarters and presided over by Safaricom Head of Consumer Sales Mr. Nicholas Mruttu and Athletics Kenya Nyanza South Branch Chairman Peter Angwenyi.

The three part event will be held in Gucha on 9th September, Kisii 23rd September and Kebirigo on 7th October. It is expected to attract over 1000 participants.

Safaricom has been sponsoring the event for the last five years.
